Ardmore

Founded in 1853 and originally named Athensville, Ardmore is a thriving community in Philadelphia’s western suburbs known as the Main Line. Ardmore is situated in Lower Merion Twp., and is actually in two counties – Delaware and Montgomery. It’s served by Septa’s regional Paoli/Thorndale rail line, and Amtrak’s passenger rail service. These regional rail lines make friendly Ardmore easy to manage and effortlessly travel from one neighboring town to the next, as well as to Philadelphia.
